Searching for a Car Rental on Classic Deem

The Travel page should already be open, and scroll down to the Car Rental section for the trip, or for a trip segment in a multi-destination trip,. 

By default, your car rental search will match pickup and drop-off locations, dates, and times to your flight times and destination based on what you have already entered in the Flight section for the trip (or trip segment of a multi-destination trip).

 If you don't want to match your flight times and destination, follow these steps:

  1. Click to uncheck the "Match my Car Rental search with my flight times and destination" option in the Car Rental section. Additional fields appear for the car rental pickup and drop-off locations, dates, and times.

     

  2. For the Pick-up Location, enter the location in the field.

    • Airport: Enter the airport in the Airport field under the choices. If you already entered information for searching for flights, this field is already filled in for you. Airport is the default choice. 

    • Address: Enter the address for the pickup location. 

  3. For the Drop-off Location, click the Same Drop-off or Different Drop-off link:

    • For the same drop-off location:  

      • Enter the dates and time for the pick-up and drop-off.

    • For a different drop-off location, an additional field appears:  


      • Airport:  Enter the address or airport in the field.  If you already entered information for searching for flights, this field is already filled in for you. Airport is the default choice. 

      • Address:  Enter the address for the pickup location. 


    • Delivery: If your site offers this option (available with service contracts in some countries), you can specify a Delivery location for delivering a car. The Address field appears under the choices. Enter the address for the delivery location; as you start entering the address, choices from previous trips appear in a dropdown menu, and you can select the address from the menu.

  4. Click in the Date field for the Pick-up Location, and click on a date (or enter the date into the field).

  5. Choose the time for the Pick-up Location from the Time dropdown menu.

    • Collection: If your site offers this option (available with service contracts in some countries), you can specify a Collection location for returning a car. The Address field appears under the choices, already filled in with the delivery address for the Pick-up Location. You can change the address for the collection location by entering a different one. As you start entering the address, choices from previous trips appear in a dropdown menu, and you can select the address from the menu.

  6. Click in the Date field for the Drop-off Location, and click on a date (or enter the date into the field).

  7. Choose the time for the Drop-off Location from the Time dropdown menu.

  8. Click the Search button at the right hand side of the page if all you need is a car rental for a one way or round trip; otherwise, proceed with booking the rest of your trip (see Booking a Trip). For a multi-destination trip, start searching for a car rental in the next trip segment below the current one.
