Cancel / Change on Mobile

Please Note:  If there is not a "Modify" or "Cancel" option on your mobile application, then you will need to contact your Travel Agency.

Devices and Passwords

What devices can I use the mobile app with, and how do I do install it?

The mobile app runs on the following:

  • All Android smartphones and tablets using Android versions 4.x and newer.

  • All iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad models) using iOS versions 5.x and newer.

Windows Mobile and Blackberry users can use the mobile web version by using the device's browser.

For installation instructions, see Implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) for Mobile.

What if I lose my mobile device?

If you lose your mobile device, you can sign out of the device to make sure that whoever has the device will not have access to your account. Click the Mobile tab at the top of the Home page. The Download page appears. Click the link for signing out of BlackBerry, iPhone, Mobile Web, or Android.

I don't know my mobile password. What do I do?

Your password is the same as the one you use to sign in to the desktop version. If you need further assistance, go to the desktop sign-in screen and click on Forgot your username or password? link. You can then reset your password, and use it for both the desktop and mobile versions.

Booking Travel with the Mobile App

How do I reserve a seat on a flight?

Tap the View seats link within a flight choice in the flight search results to see the available seats. You can then tap a blue square for an available seat, and tap Done. To compare seats on flights, tap View seats for one flight choice and make a seat selection, then tap the back button in the upper left corner to return to the flight choices, and then tap View seats for the other flight choice and make a seat selection. Both flight choices now have seat selections, and you can select the flight you want. See Booking Flights with the Mobile App for complete instructions.

How am I notified of flight changes?

Flight notifications, such as gate changes and alerts, are sent directly to the mobile app and appear on your mobile device by default.

How can I turn off notifications?

Tap the menu icon in the upper right corner of the Home screen and choose Settings from the side menu, and then tap Notifications to change your notification setting. You can then turn off the Flight Alerts option. To manage notifications on your device, choose the device's settings function (such as Settings on an iOS device), and choose the Deem app to adjust your notification settings.

How do I change or cancel a flight, hotel, or car rental?

You can swipe the picture in the upper portion of the Home screen, and tap a trip to see its summary.

  • Tap Modify trip to change any part of the trip, including flight, hotel, and car rental.

  • Tap Cancel trip for an upcoming trip to cancel the entire trip, or choose a trip segment and tap the Cancel trip link for each segment you want to cancel.

See Viewing and Changing Upcoming Trips with the Mobile App for complete instructions.

How do I find out how much it costs to change a flight?

After choosing to change a flight, a gray banner appears above each flight search result showing the estimated cost after the ticket exchange. The flight choices that are the least costly to change are sorted to the top of the search results. You can also tap Ticket Exchange Details at the bottom of the Review Itinerary page for exchange details. You can view this information before purchasing. To keep your original flight, don't continue through the checkout process. See Viewing and Changing Upcoming Trips with the Mobile App for complete instructions.

How can I tell if my flight ticket has been issued?

You can tell if your flight ticket has been issued by choosing the menu icon in the upper right corner of the Home screen and tapping Transaction History in the side menu. A transaction list appears with each trip and its status:

  • Confirmed: Ticketed

  • Hold: On hold

  • Cancelled: Cancelled

  • Completed: Ticket was issued and the trip was completed.

See Viewing and Changing Upcoming Trips with the Mobile App for complete instructions.

Are company policies indicated when booking travel with the mobile app?

Yes
. Company policies determine which flights, hotels, and car rentals appear at the top of search results, and out-of-policy results are clearly indicated as such.
